Our History
City Sand & Bricks (PTY) Ltd was founded by Mr. Hentie Henning. He first established the business in 1987 under the name of Oase Sand, but in 1990 he changed the name to City Sand, and finally the name was changed in 2006 to City Sand & Bricks (PTY) Ltd.
We are a proudly 100% Namibian born and owned company.
Right from the start, emphasis was put on service delivery by Hentie Henning, hence our slogan ‘the name synonymous with service’
The company still remains a family business.

What we do
We are a large scale manufacturer and bulk supplier of aggregates and bricks for the construction industry in Namibia.
We also manufacture and supply a wide range of ancillary products, like ready mil concrete and various types of ‘paving products.
No customer is too big or too small for us.

How we do it
We use excavators and front-end loaders, at various locations, to mine raw materials. These are then transported to our crushing facility with off-road trucks. The raw materials are then screened and crushed into various sizes of aggregates and sand. These are then transported either to our factory or our depots, respectively.
At our factory we then use these aggregates and sand to manufacture bricks, pavers, interlocks and retaining blocks, and at our batching plant to produce ready-mix concrete. We use only the latest technology and state of the art equipment.
At our factory, our quality products, which our clients became accustomed to, are then packed, stacked and cured, ready for delivery.
We use our own fleet of interlinks, crane trucks and tipper trucks to deliver our quality products to our clients, on time.
